Learn How To Make Your Own CBD Pain Cream From Seed To Cream

CBD cream offers truly impressive benefits. CBD is a natural anti-inflammatory, which makes it a highly effective topical pain reliever. It’s also a great way to soothe a sunburn. Unfortunately, many of the top-rated CBD creams on the market are expensive. If you want to learn how to make your own CBD cream from seed to cream, these are a few of the things you’ll need to do.

Setting Up An In-Home Grow Operation

If you truly want to start the process from scratch, you have a few different options. One of these options is to grow cannabis in your home. This means setting up an in-home grow operation. Before you grow cannabis in your home, you’ll want to look at local laws and make sure that this is legal in your state. Laws vary from one state to the next, which is why it’s crucial to look at the laws in your area.

If you’re not able to legally grow cannabis, you may want to look into growing hemp instead. It’s possible to produce a topical cream that uses hemp rather than cannabis.

If you are going to be growing plants like this, it’s essential that you have the right supplies, especially if you’re going to be growing your plants indoors. You’ll need to purchase lamps that you can use to heat your plants, and you’ll need a system to water your plants as well.

If you’re entirely new to growing hemp and cannabis, you may want to invest in a kit that will provide you with the supplies that you need. You’ll also need to buy equipment that will allow you to extract CBD from the stem of the plant.

Working With Seeds

Growing plants yourself isn’t your only option. It’s also possible to extract CBD from hemp seeds. If you decide to go this route, you’ll need to invest in equipment that will allow you to extract the oil that you need for your cream.

The equipment that you’ll need will vary based on the extraction method that you use. You may want to invest in a kit so that you can make sure you have all of the supplies that you need.

Choosing The Right Extraction Method

In most cases, you’ll be using one of two extraction methods for your CBD. One of the most popular extraction methods is CO2 extraction. However, ethanol extraction is another option that’s worth considering.

C02 is essentially a filtering process. It requires plants to be filtered through a number of chambers. If you decide to use this extraction method, you’ll likely have to invest in quite a bit of equipment. You may find that ethanol extraction is the easier method; it requires you to extract using a solvent.

You should look at the pros and cons of different extraction methods. Which extraction method will be the easiest for you? How much will you be spending on the equipment that you need? How long will the process take? What are some of the other extraction methods?

Being able to properly extract CBD oil from the seeds you’re using is essential, which is why you’ll want to make sure you find an extraction method that works well for you. It’s crucial to find an efficient extraction method that delivers the results you’re looking for.

Purchasing CBD Oil

If extracting CBD oil from seeds seems like too much work, you have another option. You can simply buy CBD oil that’s already been extracted and use that product when you’re making your CBD cream. If you do choose to buy a CBD oil, you’ll want to make sure you choose a high-quality product that you’ll be satisfied with.

You’ll likely be buying the oil that you need online. You should make sure that you purchase your oil from a reliable vendor. It’s important to find an affordable product with a high concentration of CBD. If the product that you buy is heavily diluted, likely, you won’t get the results that you need.

In most cases, you’ll find that it’s best to purchase a larger bottle of CBD so that you’ll have the oil that you need for your lotion. You should check to see how many mL are in a bottle before you make a purchase.

Making Your Lotion

Once you have the CBD oil that you need, you’ll need to make sure that you have a cream you can use as well. You’ll want to purchase a simple cream that doesn’t contain a lot of extra ingredients. You’ll want to make sure that your cream is as effective as possible. The fewer ingredients it contains, the better.

It’s also important to look at the cost of the lotion when you’re making a purchase. You should find something that you can purchase at an affordable price. If you get what you need at a great price, you’ll be able to buy your lotion without spending a fortune.

Using The Right Amount Of CBD Oil

You won’t want to overdo it when you’re adding CBD oil to your lotion. CBD can be quite potent, which is why you’ll want to make sure you only use what you need when you’re making your lotion. You’ll save money if you use less CBD when preparing your lotion.

Storing Your CBD Lotion

Once you’ve made your cream, you’ll want to make sure you store it in an airtight container. This will allow you to continue to use your lotion without any issues.  If you don’t want to make your own you can search for something like best cbd cream for arthritis pain and it google and it will show you a great selection of sites.

Making CBD cream at home isn’t easy, especially if you’re going from seed to cream. With that said, if this is something that you’re interested in, you’ll find that it’s more than possible for you to make the products you want to use at home.

The History Of Cbd And How It Was Discovered

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is an exciting buzzword in the field of alternative medicine and is purported to improve health in a vast number of ways. CBD is just one of over 100 different phytocompounds of the cannabis plant and provides its scientifically-proven benefits through its capacity to interface with an important messaging system of the body called the endocannabinoid system, or ECS –– more about that important point later.

Ancient History

CBD is created in the plant of the cannabis family, of which there are three primary strains. All of which originated in the Hindu Kush mountains long ago. Archaeological evidence suggests that cannabis was among the first plant cultivated for medicinal purposes, and cannabis seeds and burnt embers have been found in the tombs of medicine men and sages from Afghanistan to Siberia. It is believed that cannabis was first cultivated around 1,500 BCE or 2,000 BCE.

Marijuana was cultivated and included into ancient Chinese and Ayurvedic Medicine and used to treat pain, inflammation, and conditions of the mind and spirit. Over time and with the help of invasions, cultural exchange, and more extensive trade routes, cannabis use and culture made it’s way west towards Europe. Soon cannabis could found in apothecaries and medicine shops across medieval and its use continued well into the renaissance for both medicinal and recreational purposes.

All this time it was the potent benefits of CBD, as well as its psychoactive relative tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), that were behind cannabis’s incredible popularity and widespread use.

The Initial Discovery of the CBD Compound

But, it was not until 1940 that CBD was actually discovered in the University of Illinois. CBD was first extracted by Dr. Roger Adams. Oddly enough, even though he isolated the compound, he was not actually aware of his discovery until years later.

In 1947, Dr. Walter S. Lowe discovered even more fascinating facts about CBD while observing the effects of this drug on animal subjects in a laboratory. It was Dr. Lowes findings here that proved CBD does not have the same psychoactive properties that THC has.
Raphael Mechoulam’s Breakthrough Research on CBD

Much more has been learned about CBD by Raphael Mechoulam, who was also the first to properly identify THC as the compound responsible for the psychoactive aspects of cannabis use. The research performed by Mechoulam showed that CBD has important benefits for treating epilepsy and that the benefits of CBD are enhanced through the presence of other cannabinoids, called the “entourage” effect.

Mecholum’s research also shed light on the previously unheard of “Endocannabinoid System” and its principal messenger, Anandamide. It was found that cannabinoids interface with the ECS in a very unique way. It is through this system that CBD is able to effect health and boost homeostasis.

Since the laws governing cannabis use have been relaxed considerably over the past few years, the amount of research performed on this important botanical compound has been extensive. CBD has been studied for its capacity to reduce inflammation, relieve anxiety and stress, improve appetite, control pain, and boost the immune system.
